After removing the stock downpipe I compared the down pipes and noticed CTS's was a tad shorter but their website states it worked with the factory exhaust so I went along and installed it which was by far harder than any other downpipe I've installed on any mini f56. Once installed the downpipe was at least 3" to short to connect it to the factory exhaust.

I installed it correctly. It took a whole weekend to install. I'm very disappointed that it did not come with the gasket needed between the large opening and the block manifold. Now, it's gonna take another weekend in the could snowy driveway to take it all apart again, swap the used questionable gasket out from the original catalytic converter / manifold and the worst part is the new catless downpipe is just over 2" too short to connect from the new catless downpipe bottom point to the factory exhaust pipe leading toward the back of the car. I had to find these parts things online and everything is over a week out with overnight freight??? How much would that gasket cost CNC Racing to include? $1.00? $5.00? Just include it!!! Why not make the extension / adaptor plate for the bottom of the downpipe to the factory exhaust straight pipe (toward the rear of the car) at least 2 & 1/2" and cut it to length. It's been almost a week and the short extension still has not arrived (with the fasted delivery $$$! Make it clear in the instructions to swap out the factory used gasket or give an option to purchase a new one (first choice - or just include it) as the best option to order one from another site / hyperlink since I'm guessing it's not included because this is a machine shop and not a gasket store. Soo closed to being a 5 star but I'm cringing giving it a 3 star rating. Now my Mini Cooper has been undriveable for 5 day and will probably not be running for another 5 days. SAD! 😢

Great quality piece, had 0 issues with fitment and was able to retain the stock heat shield without any modification.
Fits as OEM

The downpipe was what I hoped it would be, speedy delivery, ports and bugs in right locations and good penetrating welds.
